We test your house using specalized equipment to give you a more accurate representation of how "leaky" your house is. (see the services page to cut right to the chase).
After we test, we will spend time with you talking about the recommended improvements which will add the most value.
We won't leave you with a results you can't use - we can implement any strategies you decide upon that fit your budget.
Our primary objective is to save you money on your utilities and make a more comfortable house.
In our study of weatherization, and our view of what information is out there, we find that many window or door companies are saying there's is the best option for energy efficiency - we don't agree. Often times, windows and doors are the most expensive weatherization option, and we feel - most of the time - the last option. The return on investment of windows is significantly lower than insulation and sealing, which can often cost 1/3 or less of the cost of windows - with more positive impact.
We don't currently sell any of the products we recommend, we will give you options. We remain unbiased to products, and encourage the client to decide what works best for their house and their budget.

Doug is a certified Weatherization Contractor, remodeler and finished carpenter.
